Nice! 8)

Looking forward to the progress on this.

The Hartmann should have been done by 21st or BBI, but alas. :?

I tell you that tupip on the nose is hard to perfect, yours looks closer than mine to the real thing but a bit wide, I had the opposite problem a few years back when I did this one. (to thin)

Nice as well jnewboy. 8)
Where'd you get that G-12 canopy? Are you going to put one on yours as well jackson?

So any of you guys done the non-winter version, and is it a tougher one to paint or get accurate with all that's going on with the Euro German schemes and their nuances?

as much as I like the G12 canopy I'm gonna stick with original G6 canopy since the bird is a G6 he was flyin and I cant find any actual fotos showing that bird with a G12 canopy just profiles have it shown as such...he probably did have a G12 on it at that late point in war due to it's better visibility aspect but Hartmann like to get in close and personal when he was after you so his front view window was his main concern..

Yes sir! its 1/18, sold it a few years back, and yes its the heart with the arrow and blood drops. As to the canopy I cheated... If you all remember the first issue of the 109e's (white 12) some had that canopy, so I swapped it out. The tall tail is the hardest portion of mine. I have made two Hartmans, the white one came out better but Im learning and this year I will be doing another. Here's my first.

All three of them look great. Good work you guys.

A shame 21 Century never did Hartmann. Seems like one of the most obvious Me 109's to do.

Ironically, I just received today the Corgi 1/32 Hartmann. 8) It is tough to find, and got it for a reasonable price.

I think he must have flown 2 different White 1 versions. The one I did is definitely correct and does not come with the arrow through the heart. Definitely a G6 and possibly Jnewboy the one in your last picture. I am happy with the one I did. Camo probably not historically correct but I will keep it. I shpuld have done the tulips different also and I did better job on the winter one to get them accurate. I have also seen wingtips with yellow and without and underside front also both ways.

lookin thru ref books I have according to Claes Sundins Hartmann profile It was his Yellow 1 bird of Oct. '43 that had his kill wreath on rudder- 9./JG52 4TH Gruppen marking behind fuselage white outline balkankreuze- then his Aug. '44 bird 9./JG52 4TH Gr. has no kill wreath- both birds have the arrow Karaya arrow heart- slightly larger Heart on his Aug. '44 bird plus a black/white balkankrueze...profiles are notoriously inaccurate/embellished...thats why I try to go from period fotos to confirm and if they are not available then pick yer poison as far as profiles go...again I know the bird you did is correct because of foto gliderdwm...not to diminish anybody elses they are all magnificent models that you fellas have done...will be decalin mine up next day or 2 then will post link to it....TJJ
