Small Scale Military Headquarters

Yeah, okay, I'm kinda fixating on this stuff...

I opened up the exhaust nozzles a bit and painted the exhaust interior, but later I might try to drill them out completely and put in actual jetpipes using some styrene tubing. They look pretty lame as is. I also drilled out the back ends of the rocket pods, which were molded closed up.
Repainted the whole thing with olive drab, masking off the few decals. Painted rotors, guns, missiles, a bit of simple weathering (perhaps incorrectly assuming these machines would be mostly made of metal) and then dirtied her up a bit with a thin wash.













I think she came out all right for a toy.
