Again this one started off as a forces of valor 1/32 blue nose Mustang.

Here it is now as Tuskegee Airmen George Hardy's "Tall in the Saddle".

I am really happy with this repaint as I have wanted a 1/32 Tuskegee Mustang forever.

Both this one, and your Cripes repaints look very nice MZ826. :D

Have a number of Mustangs myself, but no repaints.

I picked up the FoV 'blue noser" about four years ago.It is all right, but not great. The Corgi 1/32 Mustangs are nice, and if you are patient, can be bought pretty cheaply.Particularly the "Elder" version.I have seen those go for around $40. It would be a great candidate for future repaints if you were considering more.

The GMP Mustangs are the best, IMO, but are in 1/35 scale. And they make both "Cripes" and "Tuskegee" versions. :? But probably too expensive a model to do a repaint with, unless you have deep pockets.

Again, great repaints. 8)

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Snake: I checked out those GMP's and they are very nice very expensive though. I was lucky and was able to get both the FOV mustangs for $20 each from a guy in Winnipeg. They both came out of the box looking pretty haggard so I thought they would be good candidates for repaints. Did FOV not get the licensing for the "Cripes a Mighty" nose art? It appears in their advertising but not on the plane?

thanks again guys
