An IXO MC-202 Repaint

Post by Epap » Sat Jun 05, 2010 7:46 am

As many members are aware, the IXO 1;72nd scale WWII fighter line was a mass produced affair, marred by many clumsy errors and short cuts designed to speed production and cut costs. One of the better models in this line is the MC-202, though it, too, suffers from problems like faint panel lines, badly fashioned add-on parts, wing root gaps, etc. as well as hideous pad printed black panel lines. In any event, I made the necessary corrections and this is the result. The first picture shows how the MC-202 looked as an IXO model, the others depict it it its current form.[/img]ImageImage[/img]Image[/img]
