Ok it is finished. I have a few minor touch ups here and there. It's weathered really nice but it is hard to see in the picks. The camera seems to wash it out. Mucho thanks to Brain Plescia at
http://www.FightertownDecals.com who hooked me up with the topgun badge, and great details about this bird.
Here it is:
If I can get some better shots later I'll put them up.
Ok what bird should I do next?
I'm leaning towards this one Red 31.
I really want to this bird but I can't find any info on it. So anyone out that has any info please shoot it my way.
Or one of the Keith Ferris schemes.
Thx

OMG, my dream bird! I've waited for so long to see you finish it.
May I put them into my database? More photos are better.

Certainly more visually appealing (IMO) than the original scheme.
But you forgot the spots.

Great looking F-14 Kroll.
Unfortunately this has turned into a $200 unfinished model. If you want it to look good you have to paint it,and decal it yourself.

Outstanding job! And I guess I see Snake's point about a $200 unfinished model...Still, I wouldn't trade either one of my repainted F14's - They just ended up costing me a "little" more than I had palnned

seeing the Top Gun plane makes me want to make one for myself... Gonna have to be Tomcat #4 for me or something. I have one low viz that I still need to finish for myself. Along with the King of the VF-84 schemes for a patient forum member, then a follow up F-14 after that! So many Cats So little time!
GREAT job on the custom! Looks very good!
