Question About Sherman ???

Has anyone ever made a custom Sherman Rocket Launcher out of a FOV or 21st Century model in 1/32 scale? Can it be done?
Any pictures out there, What could you use for the tudes?
I been trying to get a monogram 1/32 Sherman Rocket launcher but no luck yet. So may I could make one. Any ideas> thanks

I remember some time ago someone posted that they planned to make a Sherman Calliope but never heard anymore. Both Shermans you mentioned can made into a Calliope.

It can be done, id look in home depot or ace for 1/4 inch water systen tubing and would try using that.

You may also want to try any larger well stocked hobby shop and use the small brass tubing that they sell for R/C airplanes. It can be cut to lenght with a track saw(atlas trains) and they would be a little more rigid.

Honestly, if you are going to construct the launcher tubes yourself from scratch I think it would be far easier and cheaper to use styrene tubing like the kind that is sold by some of the better stocked hobby stores, or from online sources. For one thing it's going to be much easier to work with (ie. cutting/sanding) and much lighter than any metal, even aluminum. One thing I can tell you for sure, brass is gonna be relatively heavy and you'll need some stout supports if you use it... 8)
