Historically accurate decals

OK, this is my first attempt at adding some historically accurate decals. These are the 21st German set that I got from Small Joes @ 5.99 per set, which is a great deal by the way. I didn't doing anything special when applying these, just made sure the surface was clean by giving a light wipe with some rubbing alcohol, then lightly tamped down the decals with a tissue after applying them to make sure any air pockets were pushed out, then I allowed them to dry well, and gave em' a light seal coat of Aeromaster acrylic flat clear. Overall, I'm very pleased with the results and I'm gonna do a 32X 109 tomorrow. Oh yeah, almost forgot to mention... the model is a 32X Fw-190 A8 "Yellow 11" and the standing figure is a Corgi 1:32 scale Luftwaffe Ace "Oberst Walter Oesau". Click the thumbnails to enlarge....

Great pics! The 21C 1/32 190a's are one of the best (IMO) 1/32 planes 21C did...Of course by that time they had pretty well perfected the "art"...I have correct markings on all my 1/18th planes, but have not tackled the 1/32 planes yet. However, now that I see yours...

Those Swastikas look good, much better with the swastikas.
