Small Scale Military Headquarters

Well I have serch high and low to match paint for one of my lastest projects and sturck out. I have contacted Model Masters to get a colour chart.

There is one thing I did find out is that the Krylon green camo paint matches the BBI Black Hawk real close . It is not percect but for small touch up and to try and match the parts of some of my kits it looks real good rather than basic flat black .

Plus you can get it almost in any hardware store and Wal marts.








It does look a lot better in person. The paint is cheaper than a can of Tamiya and it is a big can. Try it on a piece of paper and compare it is real close.

With a little black over spray or weather with powders or what not. It will blend great !!!!!

I have used it before to paint some New Ray Shermans. It is a nice olive drab flat color.

The great thing about that Krylon paint, is you can stain it a different shade with watered down acrylic. I use it all the time.

Dose it come in black for me sherman 76 mm?

Krylon Camo comes in 4 diff colors Black, Green, Brown, and Tan. They use to have White and Grey, but discontinued those colors for some reason.

The thingy I am holding up is a Sherman wading trunk. I am showing it against the helo for a color comparison.
