Best Glue

I have a number of small parts (think 1/72 scale) made of plastic that I need to stick together forever. I haven't had the best luck with model glue or store bought super-glue when the parts come under stress (think day to day handling). Epoxy has worked well when I need to bond two parts together, but it seems to only surround the parts and form a hard seal vs. bonding with the material itself.
Anyone have any suggestions? They'd be greatly appreciated.

Hobby store type CA glue ( superglue) works with just about everything.
To get a better bond wash both parts with denatured alcohal . Some times parts get a little oil on them finger prints ect. The denatured will take care of that.
Use the thick . The thin will run off the thick should stay put.

it really depends on the type of plastic you're trying to glue. for styrene, ambroid proweld will bond on a molecular level.

You could also try foam friendly or flexible CA. I'm a big fan of Mercury Adhesives.

for superglue I use loctite gel superglue on the flames of war stuff(thick so it doesn't just run like normal superglues
for models I use
Tamiya EXTRA thin cement
Model Master's cement
Model Master's Clear Parts Cement & Window Maker for clear plastic since it doesn't cloud or fog the plastic it comes into contact with.
White glue and Rubber cement for those easy on and off apps
Woodland Scenics, scenic cement spray or brush on adhesive for dios and basing wargaming minis.

I find LOCTITE 406 Instant Adhesive (part No. 40633) great for repairs after "shelf dives" and friends dropping my toys.
It seems to melt most plastics together and also bonds human fingers very well.
I've repaired 1/18, 1/6 and Gi-Joe figures.
You must apply with a pin or match to the area as it leaves a milky residue.

Zap a gap glue, is that the one you get at the hobby shops? I used some from a local hobby shop but i cant remember the name. It was really good on plastic models. I also use super glue on larger parts, smaller parts I tend to stick my thumb and finger together. Ouch!!
