Don't you hate it when forums do that. Don't they understand that guests might become intrigued by the pictures and decide to sign up? I'd be much more inclined to stick around if I could actually SEE how amazing this guy's skills are, rather than just read everyone else's reaction.

Is that by the Hun (Woofer)? It certainly looks to be in his style.

Well "very well done", before we use such a powerful words and change standards of model making let me just point out one thing ,most prominent part on all pictures are turret and side hatch door on a side of it , which on this model has nothing to do with how this hatch look like on a Panzer 4 ,there for my question is why to go and ad this wonderful equipment all over the tank with obvious attention to detail and dont fix most visible part

Here are some pics for reference...... http://www.worldwar2aces.com/panzer-tank/panzer-iv

Sometimes folks work with what they're good at..... paint and weathering or historical detail..... hopefully they both come together to make one great model.
Still think he did a good job......

I stand by my "very well done." I base that on the mods that were done and the paint job. Errors that the manufacturer made do not deduct from the effort that was put forth.

I was going to make a comment about how inaccurate this model is due to the fact that no Panzer IV ausf. H/J saw combat in North Africa, I chose to instead appreciate the painting and weathering skills of this modeler, and not to be a wet blanket because I know we can't all be super-duper customizers. :)

It's odd that the most prominent thing to you was the commander's hatch, when the main feature of a tank is its gun. And the Panzer IV ausf. F2/G and the ausf. H/J have two different guns.

No, it's not the Hun's custom (unless he goes by Federico Pérez now...) And, yes, totally awesome paint job. 8) OTOH, would this shade of yellow (it's actually greenish compared to the stowage jerrycans) be accurate for DAK armor? I'm always fascinated by the fact that there's such a wide color disparity between different renderings of what's basically the same subject. :?

So I decided to try how long it takes to make that hatch look good, maybe not perfect but ok also I did little covers for philips screws in middle of wheel hub ,I guess any body can do it in less than 20 minutes no special god given gifts are necessary ,just follow the photos ,There is also couple pictures of panzer 4 early version which took me little bit more then 20 minutes

Couldn't it be argued that it has a panzer III turret? with the thousands of tanks in the war you really couldn't deny the possibility, especially since parts bashing did happen
