Exactly !! I like it as a service mobile. It was sold for not too much money in german Ebay.
Wait for the modified service crew (GoldenCompass guy with tools, Indiana Jones with ammunition and a mixed figure for underwing/landingg gear service).

Wow...simply amazing and the attention to details...!

Are these stock pilots from different planes or are they customized?

That's an awesome dio! While many of us have made airfield dios at one time or another, this is the first 1:18 "hangar" I've seen someone attempt. The whole setup looks very realistic 8)

Thank you guys,
The pilots are 2 figures from fritzkrieg (one of them is holding "Golden Compas" googles) and all the others are selfmade combined 21st-Dragon-BBI Figures.
THANK YOU FRITZKRIEG FOR THE INSPIRATION.
The one in the middle is a mix of Fw190 Pilot, american general and japanese BBI-Pilot. The one with the dog is a Dragon- 21st mix and all the others are mixed 21st. Figures. The 2 guys with dragon-schmocks carring jerry cans and ammo boxes are former indiana jones russian soldiers.
Right now I do something for the hangars safetyness and try to build a sdkfz7 with PH-Vierling. Pictures soon. How far is yours, General Blasto??
Regards to all from Germany

That's a fantastic diorama! The figures look great and all the attention to detail really make this look like a snapshot (photo) from history.
Great work! I'd like to see more of Your dio's.

I will admit that sometimes I get a bit jealous of you 1:18 guys. The number of figures, and the fact that they come apart really allows you to do so much more. And of course the fact that 1:18 is a popular scale for a variety of subjects means that there is so much variety for you to pick from, the trike being an example. Heck, for that matter, Indianna Jones and Golden Compass lines both stand as examples of that as well.

Ah well, back to my 1:32 world...

Thanks for the info on the pilots, this is very inspiring. I might have to take a second or third look at my figs to do some parts mashup :D

Fritz's custom figs are top drawer too

Yes more pics would be great please, there are more stuff going on at the back of the plane, would love to take a closer look
