I am presently working on a 1/18th scale f-35ish aircraft and I cannot find any good pics or info on the airbrakes for the CTOL version of the F-35
The STOVL and Carrier version has this giant ugly thing underneat and before the arresting hook. But no info on the Conventional Version.
Any Ideas?

diferential
i think that the trend in modern planes is a clever use of different aerodynamics surfaces using diferential positions (for exemple in the F18E it's the position of the 2 rudders pinched together inward, for the RAFALE the front control goes up and the tailvon goes down in opposite motion) i don't know for the F 35 but it must be something loike that !
1/18 mirage 2000 & RAFALE should i say more ?
JFS F-35 Airbrakes
Yea I know The Super Hornet actually also has two seperate panels that pop up about where thewings meet the wing root. I just cannot find any pics of the JSF A model with any airbrakes deployed. Plenty of the vstol and carrier with that monster brake on bottom it almost looks like an afterthought. Like they bolted it on after. oopps we forgot to put an airbrake
