My Gunther Rall repaint

Finally got the decals together to do a repaint of Gunther Ralls last ride..
In 1/32 of course... :wink:

Well, Since I sold off my XD Rall a rew years ago, I always wanted another one, just not so big.. Now I have one that fits my collection better.. 8)

Is he still alive? I remember reading an article in WWII magazine a few years back and it mentioned that he was the highest scoring German ace that was still alive.

Man it would be cool to get him to sign that bird 8)

He is still alive. I met him at EAA Airenture this year.

Gunther Rall was the third highest scoring ace behind Hartmann and Barkhorn.
That would be cool to meet him, I have seen that Gunther Rall has toured before and if he gets back here and within reasonable travelling distance, I will see if I can meet him.

Great repaint! That was a scheme 21c should have done in 1:32... I love my 1:18 version :wink:

Rall is still alive, in fact a memeber on another board I frequent is meeting him in person tomorrow.

I know that... but the reason I said it is because Hartmann and Barkhorn are dead, herego, the highest scoring ace still living.
