OK I will post updated pics soon.
I removed the front left and rear right side skirts because they were not correct to what I am making. wrong color also.
Ps has any one else seen the side skirts painted in one color separately like this If I can get my scanner working I will show pics of it.
But it is 90% correct because the number is wrong. just used what i had.

Wow!,
Fantastic work, makes me want to buy another Panther, and pay you to give it an overhaul. The Zimmermit came out very well. I've been gun-shy, about trying zimmermit myself. I'm no rivet counter but the side skirts look good to me. The numbering looks sharp, what did you do to get the numbers on there? The paint looks good to, I like the darker try-color paint aps, gives it a real gritty feel.
Fantastic work keep it up!

She looks very good . But I think you have the zimmermit running the wrong way.
But you have the colors right and the weathering looks good as well.
Here is a model with the zim embossed on it.

Nice. Of course it doesn't hurt that the Panther is one of my favorite tank designs of WWII, but either way, your's looks great.
I'm curious about the chain you have on the front of the tank. I have something similar on some of my 1:32 Abrams (what's the correct plural of Abrams, Abramses, Abrami?). Although I don't recall all the exact numbers at the moment, I remember when I got it spending a fair amount of time measuring it, converting it to scale dimensions, researching chain weights and capacities, and finally deciding that, while it would be a bit heavy to drag around (the last thing I need is a bunch of my soldiers out on disability), it would be of sufficient strength for my Abrams to tow/drag other vehicles, up to and including another Abrams in a pinch.
Your chain looks to be the same, which would make it smaller in scale terms, any way you could maybe post a picture of a figure holding it in his hand so I/we could get an idea of what it looks like in the 1:18 world?

Re: actually
It sure seems that the more I think I know about a subject the less I actually do
