Custom Heads

I am working to make 1:18 mods of the cast of 'Combat!' and it has reached the point where they don't look right because the heads are not the heads of the characters. Does anyone do custom heads or know of someone who will for a good price? Or does anyone know of a comprehensive illustrated tutorial that will show me an easy process to create accurate heads? I have 7 heads that need to be made, but I don't have a deadline and I'd rather them be good accurate quality than fast and crappy.

Tri-Gate Creations has custom sculpted heads, that may work for the likenesses your trying to mimic. Give them a look.

That is a helpful link and it looks like some could work, but I am still interested in a detailed web tutorial so I can just do my own in the future.

how hard is it to paint and replace the head..
