REMEMBERING D-DAY DIORAMAS!!!

Post by RED » Sat May 16, 2009 6:44 pm

Hey yall!!! With the 65th anniversary of D-DAY just a few weeks away---I thought it would be fun to celebrate it with makeing a few dios of what happend on that day of days!!!This is no contest or anything---just a fun way to remember the MEN who fought and died(on both sides) 65 years ago!!!The dios must be historically accurate for D-DAY ,as many pics as you want ,and anything goes---customs,photo shop, ect!!! So if yall want to do a German dio thats cool as long as its with the accuracy of D-DAY!!! Yalls dios can be 1 or 2 pics or it can be 9 or 10 that tell a story---its up to you!!! All pics should be posted on 6-5-09!!! I hope to have a big turn out for is and I hope yall think this is a good ideal!!!LMK ---RED---

Can we post pics now? I've got a couple dio photos that I've already taken that may work just fine for this. They're nothing huge or amazing, but should be just fine for the purposes of this thread

I think this gets to the heart of what Memorial Day really means.

I'd like to think this is somewhere in the Hürtgen forest.

Here's a few of mine that I had on file. The pictures use 1:18 or 1:32 scale figures and vehicles, with the top picture being the only one specifically intended to depict an event on D-Day. Nothing too fancy or over-the-top, but they should work just fine for the purpose of this thread

Enjoy :D
