Is there an easy way or even a way at all to remove the zimmerit from FOV's 1/32 tank?
It seems like some one did this with their tiger 1.
thanks

I did this with my tiger I and it was quite a bit of work. The one thing you definitely need is a dremel rotary tool. The plastic pieces weren't too difficult, the tight spaces on the rear hull required a little finesse, but all in all it just took a little prep work (removing parts) and patience. The metal parts on the other hand were the tough part. Grab your most durable bit for the dremel and prepare to spend hours going over the turret and hull sides. I don't remember how long it took exactly, but it was probably around a week of working on the metal parts 2-3 hours a day. One reason it took so long was because the dremel would die on me after about an hour or hour and a half of work and I'd have to recharge for a few hours, if not just wait till the next day to continue. And be sure you have some putty present to fill in those spots that get a little overdone, otherwise your "smoothed" zimmerit will just be a pockmarked surface that looks even worse.
P.S. that Tiger I, a s.pz.abt 501 tiger in Tunisia, is almost done being painted by Cabe, and I should be posting pictures in the forum shortly.

I can't wait to see the pictures.
The reason I was asking is because I was considering removing the zimmerit off the jagdpanther and winter whitewash it.
Are there in pictures of winter jagdpanthers?
