Pickel quad AA help??

Post by Threetoughtrucks » Mon Mar 09, 2009 3:46 pm

Can anyone tell me how the Panzer IV turret comes off so I can start the AA conversion.

The turret seems to be held fast to the body by a tube. I just don't want to force it by simple brute force (Mrs. TTT is available for the job), and have something break.

Any trick that is not obvious????

Any help would be appreciated by a all thumbs kind of model guy.

You have to disassemble the hull (unscrew the lower from the upper, 3 screws), then you have to unscrew the turret retaining ring from the turret.
If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

No worries. I've disassembled both of my RC Panzers several times, so I'm perhaps a little too familiar with the process. 8)
