custom 1/32 fictional jagdtiger 2

Post by flyboy_fx » Tue Jan 20, 2009 8:32 pm

heres my 1/32 custom built and repainted 21st century toys jagdtiger. This was just a "what if the war continued" tank i did for fun ( only because i got it on clearance for 9 buks at wallmart). I added a another forward facing mg 34 that is fully movable, custom armor shields in the back to protect the crew and big zimmert spots. LMK WHAT YA THINK :D

That's very cool! I like the idea, I bet there was more then one Jagdtiger commander who would have liked some added armor and extra MG-34's. Nice custom....very 8) .

the zimmert is this 2 part epoxy clay stuff called fix it mixed with some testors filler. but its a little pricey to do it on big tanks, need to find cheaper stuff. but that stuff is great you can paint it wet or dry, its water proof, VERY STONG

Flyboy, You could try Squadron white or green putty... found at most hobby shops. The only thing is its going to stink up the house so keep a window open. I've also used spackel which works well as long as its not to wet.

If you decide to go the putty route, you also might want to use some plastic cement, or thinned plastic cement, to thin out the putty to make it easier to spread across the hull.
