anybody ever try this for brick detail?

I was buying shelves/stands at the homedepot today and went into the paint section just to look at stuff.

I was looking for a stone/stone work spray for some cobblestone bases(I was going to use the spray as a prime) and came across this\

Rustoleum, Satin Spray(Non Gloss): Old Brick #241-250

and I was thinking if it could work as a base/primer for some of my plaster buildings I picked up on ebay and haven't done anything with as of the moment. Didn't pick up a can as of yet, but I am going back this weekend to get more plastic shelves while they are on sale...so I'll grab a can maybe if I hear good reviews.
