What's the best glue/bonding agent to use to get wood to bond to plastic? I know there are many kinds of plastic, I'm trying to bond to the hard plastic they make the BBI 1/18 aircraft out of - not sure what kind that is.
Thanks

CA glue should bond it together. But you need to make sure that both pieces are cleaned so the glue will stick. Clean them with denatured alcohol. You can also use Ambroid glue. This is an oldy but goody that was used to bond everything way back when before Ca glue was invented. It is sold at most hobby shops still . The glue is amber in color and comes in a orange and white tube. The CA glue sets in min. The Ambroid sets over night.

I've never used the ambroid in a tube but if you go to the hobby store be aware that ambroid also makes pro weld liquid that's only for plastic to plastic (basically methelyne chloride, like tenax).
I'd go with something like the ambroid pickelhaube suggested or a two part epoxy over using a cyanoacrylate glue, especially if the joint will be under any weight or flex.

Thanks for the advice - sounds like you both would recommend the Ambroid glue so guess I'll go with that.

Still use the denat alco for a better bond.
