Yes, Tamiya masking tape is excellent. I had a roll of it which I used for years and never had a serious problem with it. The tape is sticky and forms an excellent seal which makes it difficult for paint to run underneath it. It was more common for me to have problems with paint running when using regular masking tape. If you are looking to get some, I'd highly recommend it!

Good doesn't begin to describe it... Tamyia tape is AWESOME! You might think that all masking tapes are created equal. This is true in almost all cases except for tamyia! It's the only kind I use.

Agreed, you can't go wrong with the Tamiya masking tape. It is a bit pricey, but worth every red cent saved in aggravation.

great in the sizes you can get, and the uses(I've used it for seatbelts to riflestraps(trimmed of course)..other than the first time I got it and I looked at the arrow on the despenser and couldn't figure how it slid down, then realized that is where you run the tape out..one of my duh moments. :oops:

Can't go wrong with Tamiya tape. I works great for masking off details and creating straps and harnesses.

i just got some from e hobbies 10mm for 2.49, got two rolls with a two dollar off coupon "internet". :D :D :D so go get some. 2 bucks off when you use "internet"

Regular painter's tape works just as well.
