If you are brush painting, you shouldn't have to primer. The only time I primer something is if I am airbrushing or spray painting a lighter coat on top of a dark coat, or if there is a question whether the paint will adhere to the surface.

thanks, I used the Revell 48th kit with the BBD/miss marilyn decals and went with the BBD version. With more experience, I should have sprayed it, but its small enough to not look that childish with a good brush. What is the best homemade form of weathering used with a modelmaster silver finish? should I spray it with a dull coat clear or something? Sorry, in spite of all the XD I own, I'm as good a dumbass as anyone when it comes to making ones own model- but I'm pleased overall at how its come out so far.
