Small Scale Military Headquarters

Hey all,

I have just begun sinking my teeth into this community over the past few months and I love it here. There is a ton of great discussion about history and toys, some of my favorite subjects. I don't have any "real" customs to share, but i got a positive response to this piece over at my other haunt hisstank.com. I thought i would share it here as well. I know there are some Joe fans, but with this project I wanted to bridge the gap between real life and the Joe "world." So i created a real life Cobra Rattler. In my twisted, juvenile mind i have a whole separate universe of GI Joe continuity that follows real life more closely than GI Joe ever did and this is one element of it. A Cobra Rattler based on the Fairchild-Republic A-10.

The original piece is a Power Team Elite A-10 purchased from Toys R Us.

Beautiful work! I've given serious consideration to doing exactly the same thing with one of the PTE A-10s that can still be found in my area. The only thing is that I really want to add a turret, but then don't want to cut up the plane too much

Dont really get into GI Joe, but that is one nice repaint!

it needs the turret, that made the plane IMO.
