Question to all of those great makers of customs out there -
How could I make a 1/18 Sidecar for the Indiana Jones cycle?
It has a hole already in the side of the cycle, it seems like one could make a sidecar to fit Henry Sr. in and attach it to the side of the motorcycle.
Anyone try this yet or was thinking about it? It seems like Hasbro is leaving us in the lurch on this one.
Any feedback would be appreciated!
(PS - if anyone is already making them and wants to drop me a line on their price - pm me!)

have you looked at post-war kombis for a sidecar and tried to backdate to the war period? or maybe a 1/18-1/20 Ural Kombi sidecar? if there is such a thing?
nothing will be prefect..but those are my ideas.

other idea, since it's a pretty simple design..vac-u-form the shell since that all a sidecar is, just a thin metal shell with a basic set, some brackets for hardware/equipment and the spare wheel.

One of the bargain brands (perhaps Power Team Elite) did a motorcycle and side-car combo. Should be a fair starting point for a custom.

side car is on the wrong side. You wouldn't be able to switch it over easily. PTE has the best sidecar i think. Should be easy to graft it onto the hasbro bike.

i was going to say that about the StuG's Kombi, but I don't think this board wants to hear Nuts&Bolts rhetoric.

the sidecar on the opposite side isn't just nuts and bolts i don't think. Pretty major difference.
If you want nuts and bolts we'll talk fenders, side cut down area, size, shape, wheel type etc etc.

They still have the motorcycle w/sidecar available. Pretty good price on it too.
