Need input...1:18 Panther ?

Post by metalwar » Thu Jul 03, 2008 5:36 am

I have the tri color scheme and the winter Panther from 21st. I am wanting to repaint and customize one of them but I don't know which one to sacrifice. I want to repaint it in a late war all green and add side skirts. I would like some input from you guys as to which one would be better to give up for the cause.

Thanks

I would say sacrafice the winter. The tri color one is oldder=rarer. I think that there were more winter ones made as well. Also if you look on e-bay the winter ones sell for a lot cheaper than the tri color and amush schemes.

I second that from pickelhaube, splash the Winter one.

I would suggest the winter one as well. It can only be used in a limited series of diorama possibilities and it also has a relatively flat paint base already in place

I have one more question. Would the tri color scheme have been seen in the Battle of the Bulge even if rare?

Most of the German vehicles would have been a tri color pattern in that time frame.
