Check this out, I've seen this guys work on 1/16 RC stuff before, and he is REALLY good. Looks like he's about 95% finished with the 21st Patton conversion, and the results look pretty impressive.

Looks like the guy finished the XD Patton RC conversion project, and his creation is now up for auction at ebay. It might be worth a look for someone who has always wanted an RC Patton.

I know him, he's a master and a pioneer in converting the 1/18 tanks into RC models.

Yes, he's pretty well known at RCU for his talents in customizing 1/16 tanks. It's worth mentioning that the Patton he converted retains the original "rubber band" tracks and non-functional suspension of the XD model, but he claims it runs very good and I don't doubt it.
