Wow! sweet job. I'm not that familiar with the PT Boats, but that thing looks pretty damned accurate to me.
Great job.

that's the dumas pt boat. I've got one of those, all though mine wasn't in as good condtion and is a fixer upper. It's 1/20 scale, very impresisive at 4 feet long.
Is that sailor crewman the gi joe figure, Red?

they come as a kit and have to be built...fairly complicated as i understand it. I'm sure if you do a search under 'dumas pt 109' you'll still find some kits for sale.
The best bet is to check ebay as you'll find them from time to time in kit and built up form. Expect to pay a few hundred either way.

In case you guys aren't aware of it, PT-109 was John F. Kennedy's PT boat that was accidentally rammed and sunk by a Japanese destroyer during the Solomon Islands campaign.
WhenI was a kid, I had a Revell 1/72 model of PT-109.

Yea thats rite I seen this in my local Hobby Town. It is cool, and I am thinking about buying it myself but the price is a little heavy $399.

oh that's not the Dumas PT boat. The Pro Boat model is bit smaller....40 inches i believe. The Dumas is 48 inches. Funny how it looks identical to my Dumas but i guess that's because they're both based on the same real boat.
