tanks all
barrel is gauze dipped in olive green wash, be sure you buy the right kind of gauze
rope holding it is a twine dipped in brown wash
still need to do more weathering and maybe hit the tread with more silver highlights and dust it up

Ohhh great work on the Stug! Very nice work on the weathering. I wish they'd make this in 1/18th.
Why are the tracks red though?

This looks very good, great job.
What's up with the german cross on the lower front?

well my diagrams of of a Das Reich stug showed that there was a small cross up front, or the diagram fooled me somehow, the cross was smaller, but whe you are working 1:32 with 1:35th scale decals, and your local models stores have no interest in stocking decals for armor, but have a phonebook sized binder of airplane and RC decals, you kinda have to just wing it. I thought it looked goofy there too. I am probably going to give it the boot anyway as I decided against using the Das Reich marking as my knowledge on the accuracy of the markings and camo are not the best and would rather just make generic stug, basically so questions like the one are not asked. Not because I think your question is unwarranted, but because it is warranted and I would rather not have to worry about explaining poorly placed or sized decals that are unique to a certain markings scheme, just paint me a stug I don't need to know the driver's family tree i guess.
all that and I think that cross looks like crap there and will probably end up covered in dust or mud soon anyways
