Wow, at first I thought that was 1/16 $400 Tiger not the $30 Target Tiger. That is how good it looks.

It looks awesome, outstanding work.

Is the camo pattern airbrushed or hand painted..?? If handpainted I would be curious to hear your technique. Either way, it came out excellent.

That is some mighty fine detailing!
I thought it was a larger more expensive model when I first looked at it!
Thanks for the Hi-Res pics makes it easier to study the detail! Great looking Camo paint too!
My hat is off to you!

All I have to say is WOW!

I can't believe that this is the toy-like FOV Tiger I have seen in other pictures. Your zimmerit is absolutely perfect and the LAH emblem is extremely realistic. Yoxfor, you are an absolute artiste!

Hey Yoxford sweet job man. I really like the rear deck. What did you end up doing to the rear vents? I see that you coverd them with screens . Did you hallow them out? Paint the recesses black ? You cant see in the pic. Fine job .
Did you make 2 of them? I will put my order in now

Yoxford, Just Outstanding! The paint, extra details and the outer road wheels.....WOW
To the folks at FOV... if you made this 1:18th Tiger like Yoxfords custom you'd sell tons of them. Oh and if you got the Tigers to the rest of the country you might sell a few more.
No Tigers in the North East.

Thank you all for the kind reviews. That really means allot coming from my fellow forum members.
Ostketten, I used mainly a dry brush method, took away some of the factory
Brown, fired a can of green spay paint at taped off areas, and then more dry brush/blending/and weathering powders. I stayed away from the airbrush to get that
1944 in the field applied with spray guns, brooms, and rags look.
Pickelhaube, I thought of cutting the rear vents but after setting the screens on, the result was not worth the effort, so I painted the recesses black.
olifant, you are right, the FOV Tiger is a diamond in the rough, took about 80 hours but I dig the results.
Final pictures are on the way, I just finished the left side cable holders and cable, also got got the track sag just right, and oh yea more mud & dust.

Yoxford, your Tiger looks great!!!!! As I said in the post above, I hope the folks at UNIMAX/FOV and 21st for that matter see the work you've put into this project. I've often wondered why THEY don't ask the collector/customizer what we think might sell or what we'd want...... Anyhow Yox best looking 1:18th Tiger I've ever seen!!!!!!!!!

The frontal shot dramatically illustrates the size difference between the two scales, quite noticeable...
