My New Repaints: King Tiger and M1A1 Abrams

Post by GooglyDoogly » Fri Jan 25, 2008 2:07 am

Here are a couple work-in-progress. I also did minor work on them, like the zimmerit on the King Tiger, added little bits of details on the tank, especially in the rear.

With the Abrams, I made the 1/24 Franklin Mint Abrams a bit more up-to-date, with new GPS, new smoke grenade storage box, smoke grenades in the dischargers, drilled the M240 and M2 machine guns, CIP panels in front of the turret, etc. It's a bit empty-looking without all the gear and whatnot in the stowage, but they will come soon. :)

Excellent work, the paintjob on the KT is awesome. Did you use photo etched brass for the Zim...?? Just curious.
