Bbi black hawk 25th infantry custom work in process

Post by VMF115 » Sat Jan 12, 2008 10:21 pm

I am still in the process of modifying this bird, but I reworked the main rotor hub and added the hydraulic lines, I also painted it army hello green , canted the tail rotor and added an antenna. I made the hydraulic lines out of bass guitar wire.

She is a bit dusty as you can see , in fact a few customs have been sitting idle for some time. I guess it’s time to get all of them done.

For the most part I have a good base coat on her, I ran out of paint,,,,and my hobby store still has not ordered army hello green…….any ways I plane on doing a 25th infantry black hawk.

She’s a work in progress.

Ahh... The hub wiring is spot on! I won't be able to wire mine till I figure out the folding mechanism. Great job on the antennas and the repaint. Look forward to the progress on this one - R!

Mediump so you know hw it feels to run out of supplies it does suck, what really sucks is not having the time to do it, due to work.

MiG29K I expect perfection from yours no doubt, and thanks for the complement .

scope uk I will be lucky if I can get around to modify it, but I hope to before the end of winter
