Ferg,
I'll post this here in this Customs area since we're not talking about e-bay stuff,
Well let me see if i can anwser your question, Yes it has been concidered and talked about making unfinished kits that individuals can assemble and paint themselves, Coming into the new year i'm going to try to expand in these area's, Armor, Buildings, Figures, I know everyone can't afford a $300.00 or $400.00 tank, Hell i build them and I can't afford to keep one  , I am a simple one man operation, and as most of you know i scratch build almost everything i do, A couple of years ago i started making molds of everything i consider to be a pain in the A^&^% to make, A perfect example is the Commander hatch on a early tiger, I built a complete capola (Early tiger) Down to the hatch and Hinge mechanism so it would look and operate like a original would, I made molds so i can Mass produce this one hinge,( It was a nightmare ) but anyway it's done, So little by little i'm getting to where i can Mass produce kits --parts--pieces--- It just takes time---But you can count on Jagdpanzers, Jagdpanthers, Early Tiger, Complete Tanks and Kits--These are coming along with a sdkfz 222----Very soon--- I will try to polish up on my photo posting, Last time i tried to post a photo of a custom Kettenkrad it came out in Kurts Kamera korner--I still don't know how i done that-- But anyway, I hope this info will give you guys a little up-date on what WooferCustoms has got going on, In the Future i will try to spend more time on this form, Which i really enjoy more than any other i belong to or go to, This form is # 1

PS
Ferg,
I would build that Mosquito--- If i knew you Would't count every Nut - Bolt and Rivet i put on it, LoL--It would be a great "Challenge" 8)

I've always enjoyed the models I've bought from you E-
I too also like building the models myself and finding a source for custom parts WOULD be a plus ;) I plan on building many types of German tanks and some that never saw the battlefield or some that would be totally cool, like the 2 main gunned Lion class tank that keeps floating around in my mind :P Hatches, turrets, parts, etc would be a nice addition to enter the 1 18th arena. Not many of us are able to custom mold parts. Be also nice to see either parts or kits for the Opel Blitz trucks and other German halftracks made too ;) Just thought I'd add a couple cents here and praise for your Great works that you've made 8) 8) 8) Herr General

Woofer,

I have produced a kit which makes a Jagdpanther like this:

A couple guys are test building them now. I'm waiting for their inputs before I sell them.

I've also produced the cast parts for the Jagdpanzer and can put out a kit if there is enough interest.

Sounds good. If the wheels are less than the price of an FOV Tiger, I'm in. 8)

The only photos that I have seen are on the back of the current FOV 1/18 offerings' (Abrams, Bradley) box. It shows an Early Production Tiger with molded in Zimmerit. I'm guessing they'll run the same price as the Bradley and Abrams. $30 if I'm not mistaken. In addition, I'm not sure how compatible the FOV wheels will be with the 21C hulll. I expect your road wheels will have been designed for the 21C Tiger. Either way, I'm definitely in the market for a Feifel air cleaner system.

I asked for someone to post photos of the back of the box on the 1/18 FOV thread, so keep an eye out. Hopefully somebody will help out with that request.

Woofer,
I bought one of Gary's Jagdpanzers and I am currently putting zimmerite on a Jagdpanther. I am really happy with these kits because they are laser cut and fit quite well to the tank chassis. I'll post a picture when I'm done with them.

These custom kits and accessories sound great.....about time too. I"ve been expecting this for 7 years! Can't wait to see what's in store. A Wirblewind might be a good choice too as you just need the turret and flakvierling (i know both are a lot of work but the PIV chassis is untouched and already available).

I don't know if it would be of any help and it is obvious you are a skilled model makers but there are a lot of 1/25 scale armour paper model kits available and they can easily be scaled to 1/18 for making patterns off of. Might save a lot of time and work as most of these paper kits are very precise and quite accurate, especially the newer ones. Just an idea.

Woofer: as far as the Mosquito goes......i don't care if it even has rivets! I have foam r/c models, wood models i commissioned etc in my collection so precision and exquisite detail and accuracy is not important to me. Just a replica that's about the right size and captures the look of the real thing is what i'm after.

Please keep us posted all you customizers! :)

Ferg,
I have thought about the Wirblewind, but i think several other members are trying this conversion, but i have purchased a couple of 1/32--1/35 scale models to do a feasibility study on what it would take to do it, If i ever finish this Sd Kfz 222 i have started, with all the angles on this custom i feel like the Wirblewind would be a fairly easy conversion, also where can i go to look at some of these 1/25 paper kits?

They have the best selection i know of. Also, look on Ebay under 'paper model'. Often a good selection of harder to find kits and at good prices.
