The Russians look great.
I like all of the German mods; because, I have been doing just what you are, and putting Dragon ponchos, webgear, and weapons on my 21st Century figures for about a year now. Great method or "customizing" figures, indeed. You should try using the Dragon K98s as well as the MP40s, Stgs, and G43s. They're much more accurate and scaled than the 21st or FOV ones.
Those ponchos are a pain to get on, you're right. Getting those Dragon belts on over them takes some time...especially for the ones that are cut a little shorter.
Your SW stuff looks awesome, too.
...but I think you've taken the cake with those Russians. Those are really nice.
Razor17019 wrote:Where is the coat and helmets from?
Yes, where did you get those heads?

...those helmets are from the 25th Anniversary Cobra Troopers, right? I had never noticed the relation to the Russian helmets till I saw your customs.

Thanks for all the great feedback. I'm glad you like the mods. The

Russian Helmats are trimmed down Cobra helmets.

The Trench Coat is a dyed Han Solo Trench Coat.

The Heads are Joes heads.

Nice! Where'd you get that Luger? Dragon? Those Russians do look better in the darker color, I'll admit. I need to practice figure painting. :) (Sounds like I'm going to paint a person on canvas)

The Lugar is from the FOV Bravo Team Germans. It has a painted handle, which is nicer than the XD version , which is mono chromatic.

Thanks for the feedback

Flitz, awesome work on the Russians! What helmets did you use? I especially like the shape of the one on the right in the first photo in this thread.

Well done! :D
