MIGMADMAVIS,

You are allowed to enter any self propelled artillery you wish including anti-aircraft. In fact, I double dog dare you to make one.

Would a M3 Grant be in the running? Or is that more hard line armor and not so much Arty?

I would have to say the the Grant was intended to be used as a tank pickelhaube although a lot of tanks did serve in the mobile artillery roll.

Hmm... I have an idea of something I could enter, but it might not be fair  Would a "restoration" enable what I've got to be entered into the contest?

When is this supposed to be over, BTW?

My progress on this contest as it stands! My time line has slipped a little on my 1st entry for the contest but I think I will be able to make up some time in the next week. Constructions and corrections are going along well. I would say that I am 1/2 done on the construct part but the next 1/2 phase will be the most difficult/detailed. I have some moving parts that need to be re-engineered and I am try to tackle them mechanically even though I have not used my engineering degree in years!
I would really like to start on the 2nd entry by the end of April but time and home life is the x factor.

Does anybody know were I can get the Monogram book #4 on the V weapons? I have been told that they have the best scale drawings of the V-1. This is as far as I have gotten on my project Kamikaze.

Is there none around you could borrow for half an hour? Even If someone else took photos for you?

Yikes! I have almost no modern figures
VMF115 or I could hook you up with some. As far as pictures there have been members that assisted contest participants in the past with the photos.

You might also try one of the disposable cameras. Take all the photos, turn the camera in and select the CD option instead of prints.
