on the tanks i've done i just use track i can scrounge. I used xd tiger tracks on my KV-2 and i used tonka bulldozer tracks on my elefant. They don't look 100% accurate but it's really not that noticable and it's way better than trying to assemble the track out of bits of paper.
That RSO is incredible...shows what can be done with this medium and some skill.
