Need Vehicle help

Post by wreckchaser » Mon May 28, 2007 12:34 pm

Howdy, does anyone have any pics of the follow me type jeeps used during WW2 or Korea? I had thought about painting my 1/18 MB as one of these. I use to have an Army motors magazine that had a color pic on the cover of one in front of a B-24. It was yellow with black markings. I need to know what shade of yellow more than anything and where I could get black stars and numbers in 1/18 or suitable scale. It seems like that I had also saw one in a Check pattern somewhere.Thought this might make a good project since we have no ground equipment for aircraft. I was also trying to think of other projects for airfield trucks using the 3/4 and 1and 1/2 dodge trucks.
