I managed to get an extra barrel from Panache place because a friend that buy's FOV wholesale received a few 1/16 Tiger's with bent barrels. We asked for two but they only sent one and it was defective anyway with a muzzle that was partially deformed. We couldn't use it for a replacement so I bought a 1/16 King Tiger muzzle from backyard armor. The finished mod is in the link below.

That looks cool! I've been thinking about doing that. I just don't know whether to replace the muzzle break like you just did, or just drill another hole to make it a binocular gun sight.
I noticed that most of the 2nd kompanie of the 101st SS.S.PZ.ABT. Tigers are the Late version but with the old-style muzzle break, with binocular sight.
So I dunno whether to make an accurate late-late Tiger, or an accurate Tiger 222.

Yeah, I had only a few actual pictures of Tiger1 222 from a book and from what i could tell, the backyard armor King Tiger Muzzle matched up pretty good. I didn't know if it was accurate though. I originally wanted to get a extra barrel from a FOV King Tiger and use that muzzle but it's a bit different from the backyard armor muzzle.
Here are a few pictures of Tiger1 222 after the battle at Villers Bocage from Hitler's Teutonic Knights by Bruce Quarrie.

Oh that wasn't Tiger 222. FOV actually made a booboo by adding that rhomboid marking.
That rhomboid marking is only for 1st kompanie tanks (hence why there's a 1 beside the rhomboid). 2nd kompanie never had those markings.
Those are pics of knocked out Tigers at Villers Bocage, but all of those are pics of 1st kompanie tanks, who went in after Wittmann.
Here's a pic of of the Tiger Wittmann used in Viller Bocage, which was knocked out at the end of Rue Pasteur.

Great job Zartan!
Personally, I am keeping the large break. Googly Doogly is quite right as you can’t go wrong either way.
The large brake was used on Tiger 1’s through their entire production run, (really depending on what was available in 1944 and what supplier had not been bombed out that week) and of interesting note is mention in the book, Germany's Tiger Tanks D.W. to Tiger I: Design, Production & Modifications by Jentz and Doyle, that the smaller KT brake actually caused a balance problem with the recoil spring, as it was originally calibrated for the heaver, larger brake. As for the gun sight, there also I am sticking with the mono version as I swear I only see one dark blotch on the Viller Bocage front shot of 222.

The sign of a great model is that one’s eye is not drawn to any one feature, yet one can study it for hours and continually find something new.
