D-Day Figures- Swapped heads with older 21stC figures

Post by Razor17019 » Thu May 03, 2007 8:39 am

I had some extra heads from 21stC Paratroopers. I was curious if they would work with the new D-Day figures. I put the old Paratrooper head on the D-Day body and it fit without any trim work at all. There is a really small gap at the front of the neck. Not really noticable.

Has anybody tried putting a D-Day Head on an older 21stC figure?

Yep 8) I had to trim the peg on the older figure's head, as the hole on the D-Day figure is shorter and narrower. I have put extra D-Day series figure heads on older figure bodies without any problems, save they can be a little loose and come off much more easily.

For me, the heads and arm sockets were the biggest dissapointment with the new D-Day figures as they are largely incompatible with the older XD ones. 21c was very consistent with their earlier figures, and one can easily switch heads, arms, and other parts between S1 figures through the BoB II figures. The new D-Day figures make customization a little trickier.
