1/32 Custom WWII Diorama/ Planes !!!UPDATED!!!

Post by MIGMADMAVIS » Mon Jan 22, 2007 7:34 pm

Custom Diorama i made to go with 1/32 FOV, and ultimate Soldier Figures, and tanks. Made it to look like a blown out german town under NAZI control. P-40 is 1/32 from the AVG one, and Corsair is to resemble a Korean War Fighter that i made from the devil dogs version, and the stuka i made to look like the winter camoflauge from the eastern front( I have redone the stuka, and ill add pictures of it as soon as i can. Took away alot of the yellow, and enlarged the swatstikas to make it look historically correct. ) Tell me what you think! Just added my custom stukas, the Winter Camo Eastern Front Version, and the Snake Version, Completely repainted both, and added details. For the Green Balkans campaign one, I just added an extended yellow tip. Uptaded the P-40, 1/32 AVG,also my 1/32 SBD Dauntless MAtchbox kits that i just finished up.<a href="http://img246.imageshack.us/my.php?image=diorama4st.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/1797 ... 4st.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us"></a><a href="http://img246.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... ma27oa.jpg" target="_blank"></a></a><a href="http://img246.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p403ag.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/2985/p403ag.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at<a href="http://img440.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... 5776jy.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/4800 ... 6jy.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us"></a><a href="http://img101.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... 5741ra.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/1350 ... 1ra.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us"></a><a href="http://img471.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... 5721gl.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img471.imageshack.us/img471/142/ ... 1gl.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us"></a><a href="http://img257.imageshack.us/my.php?imag ... ess1al.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/2825 ... 1al.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us"></a><a href="http://img257.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p402xo.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img257.imageshack.us/img257/8912/p402xo.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us"></a><a href="http://img265.imageshack.us/my.php?image=p4027bu.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://img265.imageshack.us/img265/5186/p4027bu.th.jpg" border="0" alt="Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us"></a>

How did you safely pry off the back cockpit windows of the P-40 to repaint the fuselage? Any quick technique to avoid breaking or scratching them?

thanks,

Michael

Well, it was already painted an od green under it, so i did not have to paint that part, im sure it would look better if i had somehow pried them off, but i didnt want to take any chances. But if you were to try to remove them, i guess the best way is to just pry them, cause i dont know any other  but good luck
