A Knight`s Tale
Well thank`s for ALL the encouraging comments on my WIP thread on this project. It`s made me want to finish this one even moreso.
So I hope I`ve NOT disappointed anyone with the end result.
As an added bonus see my 2nd Knight in this thread Two for the Price of One & Yes the chainmail shirt is ALL cloth (from the 1/6th Knights).
A Knight & his Squire
To ARMS
A Knights Challange is offered.
"Squire My Sword"
Sword Combat
The KNIGHTs
Well there you go,the first two of several Knights I have planned.
Oh yea More in Full Plate so I can do a Jousting contest too (so keep an eye out for that one ).
FULL PLATE KNIGHT PARTS....
HEAD: Papo Prestige Knight.
TORSO: Papo Prestige Knight.
ARMS: MLS Dr Doom.
WAIST: Eversparkle.
UPPER LEGS: Eversparkle.
LOWER LEGS: MLS Dr Doom.
FEET: MLS Dr Doom, with original toes from the Papo Prestige Knight.
Added dremelled out armour from the original Papo Prestige figure :Shoulder Pouldrons,Shins,Knees`s & Thighs.
The chainmail is from a 1/6th Knight. Thus letting the articulation work & offering armour protection.
CHAINMAIL KNIGHT PARTS....
FIGURE: AOD Knight.
I removed the Breast armour, helmet, thigh armour & Elbow Armour.
Then using 1/6th Cloth scaled Chainmail I made the Chainmail shirt (It`s brighter than it looks).
The helmet is from a Schleckt Knight I dremelled out to fit the AOD head.
SQUIRE....
FIGURE is a Robotech RAND figure No work done.
Well there you have them. I hope you like these & look forward to hearing your comments.
Thank`s & Merry Christmas

Ahhh, the things that can be accomplished with patience and an attention span lasting more than 5 minutes. (something I don't often possess myself )
Very well done Ja. If you can get a system down, you might be able to earn some XD money off of Ebay. I bet fully articulated knights would be quite popular.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.

WOW!
Wow SB! A 1:18 articulated Knight! That is awesome!
These figures look absolutely great! The fact that you can put all these different parts together and make something that looks like it was made that way! Fantastic!
I looked at some of your images you linked me (when I posted the SHS stuff) and your work is great!
You have some talent and patience man!
Um could you make me about 300 articulated roman legion soldiers!
Love the chainmail under the armor too!
Great work! Thanks for sharing again!
