Here are a couple shots of a 1:18 Jagdpanzer IV/70 Lang conversion in progress.
The white parts are .080 thick sheet styrene. The barrel is a 3/8" hardwood dowel tapered, and the mantlett and pig's snout are resin castings from masters made from Bondo.
For research I used the Tamiya 1/35 kit and the book Jagdpanzer in the Tanks in Detail series.

Great job lang version is by far the best you have done a great job.I have built one of these in 1/6 it's big never finished it yet.The 2 front road wheels on each side of your tank will have to be reworked I believe they were solid wheel to handle wieght of barrel. If you decide to cast barrel and mantle I would be interested.

WOW!
This is starting to look good!
I like the casting job! Any chance you will offer the castings after you are done? I have an extra IV's I might like to do this to!
Nice!!!!

Yes, I can do that. But I'm not happy with the first versions and I will re-do the masters. When you see I have posted the final version, shoot me a PM as I am new here and not permitted to post in the buy/sell section.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. Then quit. No use being a damn fool about it.
