Post by Razor17019 » Sun Jul 16, 2006 7:59 pm

Hi all.
Kevrut wanted to share his custom helicopter with you. But he is not use to posting pics. So, I am doing it for him.
Enjoy HIS work...

Thanks everyone.
I have another one here at home. Razor got that one thru a trade with someone else here on the forum. I have quite a few more items to post one of these days.
I painted it by hand. A few months ago I posted a question about using airbrushes, but ended up just using blue painter's tape and a brush. It took me about 3 hours to do one. (While watching my daughter.) The one I have at home doesn't have the "1st Cav" on it. (Not sure which one looks better.)
I'm just about finished with another project. It's a Viet Nam era gun boat. The PBR Mark II. I'll post pics soon.
Thanks again, Kevin.

You might want to send that picture to Teamski for his profile album. That's the actual example of the XD "Sharkmouth" Huey 8)

Thanks RED.
I've got that Huey hanging in my bedroom. I thought I'd share the pic with everyone. I found it last year while doing dozens of Viet Nam Google searches. I have no idea where I found it. I'm sure it was in someone's personal collection. I was surprised when I saw it. :)
