Testors Decal Maker Standard Edition

Post by ostketten » Thu Jun 01, 2006 9:31 pm

Anybody tried this?? For about $10 it sounds like it might be very useful for those of us who like to customize and detail our models. Some of the features are....

* Import your own images and turn them into decals
* Add custom text in cool shapes! Including arches, angles, circles and drop shadows
* Use one of the 150 stock decal images included, or import your own
* Resize decal images to just the right size
* ...and more

Sounds pretty cool for 10 bucks, and I just wanted to maybe get some feedback from anyone who has actually used the program. Thanks,

Scott

I have. I put a review on it on this forum (Page 2 of this, titled: "Decals from Scratch". I do like it, and I didn't expect miracles but I was able to produce some good micro detail. It ultimately will depend on the printer you use. That will make or break it. I'm designing my own decals from software and printing directly.
