1/18 Panther turret/barrel removal question

Post by USCGMK2 » Wed Sep 18, 2024 8:28 pm

I am disassembling a Panther for a repaint. I got it all apart except removing barrel from the turret, I wanted to see if anyones done this before and how. It looks like it's glued in with 2 pegs, I was thinking about soaking the whole thing in Purple Power to help break down the glue. Thanks for any help.

I have done this SEVERAL times but can't remember how I did it.
I think you have to cut those glued in pins on the back and replace with small screws.
I will check today and get back.
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller
