I've had this diecast Mercedes for a while and wanted to try something like this...
....I took the G4 apart and painted it Tamiya German Gray XF 63, then took an MG34 and mounted it on a piece of metal rod.
Still need to put a few more details on and weather.
Oh and the 21st Kumbelwagen driver will need his boots removed to make him fit.....I"m not going to use the driver that came with
G4.

Very nicely done. I need one of those.

I thought this was really cool so I'd try my hand at one. The only one I could find on Ebay was $115.00. A little too rich for my blood.

Thanks guys, this was a quick and easy custom. I liked the look of the black staff car but I wanted to display
it with some of my armor and it just didn't work.
These photos gave me some ideas...
I like the darker gray version....rather than this one but still very cool.

I had no idea it cost that much.

That's very cool and informative. I'd been tempted many times to get one but am just not that interested in parade class vehicles. Those pictures make it clear that a few of them got to the front or close enough that they had to be configured for it. Thanks for sharing!

Man, that is super! Had no idea those were used in the field. Kinda thought of them as strictly the black Urban and parade show vehicles. They are really expensive but they should be in relative terms.
