New Project - Guntruck & Tank Killer - Brainstorming

All right, I picked up these two pieces at a local FleaMarket this past weekend for $1.50 each. I have a rough idea of what I'm going to do and I figured what better place to get feedback than here. Here are my ideas, tell me what you think?

Ok this one I'm going to call this one, "Gun Truck"




This one is going to be the gun truck of all gun trucks: Here are a list of the mods I'm going to do to it.
1)Behind the drivers seat on the top of the APC. cut out a circle for one of PH's armoured m203 grenade launcher hummvv turrents for side and foward shooting.
2) On the rear of the APC, above and an inch to the rear of the opening, do the same thing but with a dual .50 cal setup for rear and side shooting.
3)If you look at the top middle where the massive circle is, I want to cut out an inch foward, half inch to the rear, to both sides and an inch down the side. Make a floor an additional two inches down below the wall for a machine gun nest. I'll seal in the walls on the four sides and put a raised detachable roof above it and on the inside put 4 miniguns(or frontal armoured m60's{or two of each}) for side shooting.
- I was also going to put a .50 cal on the rear opening put I don't think it'll fit under the
turrent and may end up looking sloppy.
5) Paint the undercarrage black, and the top a weathered army olive.

The second is a Tank that is dubbed "Tank Killer"


This one is a little less ambitious as the first but nontheless complicated.
1)Restore the turrent gun(anyone know were I can get that piece?)
2) - From the front view - On the turrent I am going to put a .50 cal on the top left side and a m60 on the top right side. Behind the .50 cal gunner I'm going to put a m249 or mk48 on the hatch hinge. Looks better to me and I didn't like the hatches.
3)Replace the side hideaway gun with a minigun.
4)The front foward left I'm going to put a m203 grenade launcher while on the hatch piece I want to leave as the drivers seat.
I also want to paint this the weathered army olive drab.

I don't know exactly how I'm going to go about doing this yet but like the title says, brainstorming.

-Flyboy how much do you think it'll cost for the paint job?

Don't know where I can help you with the APC, but I can help you with the tank

The tank you have on the bottom there is the Lanard Corps tank. I've never seen it with that standard-looking of a paint job, however. Usually it is in a bright olive green or bright red. If you go to your local Wal Mart, its quite likely you can find one for about $10 and it should have all the parts you need. The tank isn't bad if you want something futuristic or fantasy-like, but its not very realistic.

For a rainy day project a few years ago, I got one, repainted it and modified it into something for my GI Joe Cobra troops, for which it works perfectly:

Thanks, I was going for a nonrealistic modern tank killer along the same idea they had in ww2. I'm not trying to fully restore these two pieces, especially the apc which its getting gutted and cut up. The tank, the only 2things I am going to get is the gun barrel and rocket launcher.
