Ron Denning does amazing work. He has some other projects posted at http://www.largescaleplanes.com.
Here are a couple of other links to his stuff (sorry if this is hijacking the thread):
1/18th Sikorsky Skycrane:
http://www.largescaleplanes.com/Photost ... /ch54b.php
1/18th Douglas X-3 Stiletto:
http://www.largescaleplanes.com/Photost ... /x3/x3.php
1/18th F2G Super Corsair:
http://www.largescaleplanes.com/Photost ... 2G/f2g.php
It's an interesting site with a lot of modeling talent showing there, and a few 1/18th nuggets scattered about.

Was it for this my life I sought? Maybe so, and maybe not...

Pretty incredible model of a plane that I would love to see done.
But I agree with PH. Three years.
And the fuselage does look a little 'skinny" to me, although I am not an expert on this plane. Just my impression.
None the less, a great build.
