M-8 Greyhound possibilites....

Post by normandy » Sat Feb 12, 2011 6:55 pm

If hasbro stuff is close to 1:18th scale, this might work for an M-8 Greyhound.

It is kind of close. The turret is all wrong.

There could be some posibbilities.
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller

yes the turret is the biggest problem. Could modify the existing one and cake lots of stowage on it to hide the fact it's wrong, make a new one, or live with it as is.

Scaling from the pics i've seen it looks pretty close to 1/18 to me. Hasbro stuff tends to be on the small side, which in this case is not bad, since the Greyhound wasn't all that big. Needs to be about 11 inches long.
i never met an airplane i didn't like...

When it hits the stores I'll pick up a few and see what can be done. With a little putty and paint....we'll make it what it aint.
