1/16 King Tiger repaint

Post by bananapirate » Thu Jul 30, 2009 10:01 pm

My first camo paintjob! a Matorro RC, came in a horrible poo brown/brite yellow so I had to repaint it. Added the mesh on the vents too. camera disorted the colors a bit. I need to add a couple bits and pieces and touch up the camo yet

Looks good. Really like my 1/18, but lots of people just don't know what they are missing in 1/16. That King Tiger is there for the taking for an average of around $110. I don't think thats far off from what a 1/18 would cost if one existed and it wasn't too toyish like the FOV tanks. Picked mine up for $80 off ebay. Couldn't pass up a well done King Tiger for that price just cause it wasn't 1/18.

Looks very nice.

Those 1/16 tanks look to be a great alternative to 1/18. As long as you are not a scale purist.

Great work, I would love to have one of those Matorro KT's. I wish I would have gotten one when I could!
